 What Makes a Hot Shot Cocktail?

It’s not just about taste — it’s about the moment. Every Hot Shot cocktail is built around three things:

• The Burn — that signature tingle that makes you feel alive
• The Ritual — a game, a garnish, a reveal that turns sipping into storytelling
• The Journey — flavours inspired by my global path: Canada, Hawaii, Australia, and beyond

First Up: The “Cloudy Burn Spritz”

This one’s made for backyard buzz, beachside rituals, and golden hour gatherings. It’s a fresh twist on the classic spritz — using cloudy apple juice, a splash of soda, and the signature burn of Hot Shots.

Ingredients:

• 45ml Hot Shots Original (or Cold Burn variant for extra chill)
• 60ml cloudy apple juice (unfiltered, tart is best)
• 30ml soda water or dry ginger ale
• Dash of lemon juice
• Ice + apple slice or rosemary sprig garnish

Ritual: Serve in a tall glass over ice. Before sipping, swirl the glass three times and say the name of the person you’d most love to share it with. Then take your first sip — eyes closed, face to the sun.
