The “Kiwi Alpine Snap”

Some cocktails chill. This one snaps.

The Kiwi Alpine Snap is a crisp, herbaceous cocktail with a citrus backbone and a native twist. It’s built around Hot Shots White Rum Liqueur, fresh kiwi, and a splash of elderflower — perfect for mountain mixers, lakeside rituals, or founder-led tastings that begin with a breath and end with a grin.

The Kiwi Alpine Snap

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Hot Shots Rum Liqueur

  • 30ml fresh kiwi purée

  • 15ml lemon juice
    10ml elderflower syrup or liqueur

  • Dash of mint bitters

  • Ice + kiwi slice or mint sprig garnish

Optional: 

Serve in a chilled coupe with a crushed ice nest.

Ritual: Before shaking, step outside and take three deep breaths. Say the name of a place where the air felt pure. Shake hard, pour cold, and sip while facing something green — even if it’s just a houseplant.

Founder’s Note

This cocktail was born on the edge of Lake Wānaka — mist on the water, kiwi in hand, and a moment that felt like clarity. I wanted something that tasted like clean air in a glass. The snap is the chill. The burn is the spark.
