The “Thousand Island Mist”.

By Colleen Walters — Flavoursmith, Founder, and Willy Wonka of Booze
Some cocktails refresh. This one reflects.
The Thousand Island Mist is a delicate, tea-infused highball — built around Hot Shots OG: Cinnamon and Ginger Rum Liqueur, jasmine green tea, and lychee. It’s floral, lightly sweet, and perfect for lakeside sipping, founder-led rituals, or quiet moments that end with clarity.
The Thousand Island Mist
Ingredients:
-
45ml Hot Shots OG
-
60ml chilled jasmine green tea
-
15ml lychee syrup or juice
-
Dash of lemon juice
-
Top with soda water
Ice + lychee fruit or edible flower garnish
Optional:
Serve in a tall glass with a misted sprig of mint or lemongrass.
Ritual: Before pouring, close your eyes and take three slow breaths. Say the name of a place where silence felt sacred. Pour gently, sip slowly, and let the mist rise.
Founder’s Note:
This cocktail was born on the still waters of Qiandaohu — mist curling over the lake, tea in hand, and a moment that felt like pause. I wanted something that tasted like reflection in a glass. The tea is the calm. The burn is the awakening.
